Summer treats to beat the heat!

It is that time of the year where it is not uncommon to find people sipping milkshakes, having fruits, drinking several cups and glasses of water. Yes, summer is here.
You also see people covered from head to toe to avoid the wrath of the sun and you find yourself taking steps to stay away from the sweltering heat. In a season like this, one needs to be careful about the kind of food that must be consumed, something that can be both healthy and that can ward off the heat because summer brings along with it its own share of ailments. And it is children for whom utmost care must be ensured regarding the kind of food that they can eat. Here is a list of foods that your children can eat in order to stay hydrated, stay immune from diseases and also stay in the pink of health this summer.

Fruit salad

When children are presented with food that looks delicious and attractive, colorful and overall tempting, they are most likely to consume it. For the same reason, one of the best foods that your child can have this summer is a Fruit Salad.
